An invitation email will be sent to graduands before the convocation ceremony.

Your Guests

You can extend the invitation card to your parents/and or family members for the ceremony, but remember to inform the Graduands Affairs Committee on the number of invitation cards needed, maximum of two (2) guests per graduand. Last minute additions will not be entertained.

All guests are required to present their invitation cards to the usherers at the respective entrances before being allowed to enter the Convocation Hall. Children below the age of 12 are not allowed to enter the Convocation Hall.

For those who are unable to enter the Convocation Hall, you may watch the live coverage of the ceremony in the Conference Hall 2 located at Lower Ground 2.

Graduands are required to pay a convocation fee of RM500.00 that will cover:

  • Rental of Convocation Regalia
  • Scroll holder
  • Photography
  • Refreshments (graduands and two (2) guests)
  • KMC Alumni lifetime membership for those who are attending the ceremony

Outstanding debts

  • Before proceeding with the convocation, graduands should make all necessary payments of debts to the University.
  • Debts to the University include outstanding tuition fees (including sponsored students), library fines and books, or debts to partner institutions. It is the University’s policy that graduates will not be issued their scroll and academic transcripts if they have yet to settle their outstanding debts to the University.
  • Please make the necessary arrangements to settle any outstanding debts immediately.

Please ensure all details, as stated in the e-university portal, are accurate. The portal will be filled with details from your Identity Card (for Malaysians or permanent residents) or passport (for foreign nationals), which will be used in your transcripts and certificates. Should you find any discrepancies in your details, you may check, verify and rectify them through the e-university portal.

The annual tracer study is an effort to survey the performance of graduates in the job market upon completion of study. The main objectives of the study include obtaining basic information on the status of graduates upon completion of study, investigating the employability of graduates in the job market together with their job status, types of employment, monthly income, and employer’s information. In addition, this survey is also used to gather information on graduates’ perspectives of academic programme, facilities and the impact of teaching and learning process in INCEIF. As a continuous effort to improve the service quality of INCEIF and further enhance Islamic Finance education in general, it is necessary that we get the support, and valuable feedback from you.

It is compulsory for every graduand to complete the survey form online. Upon completion, kindly print a copy of the survey slip and submit to us as you collect your convocation regalia as proof that you have completed the survey. All the information given is CONFIDENTIAL.

The Graduate Tracer Study is not applicable to Professional Certificate in Islamic Finance programme.

INCEIF Graduating Student Survey is a retrospective assessment of the value of INCEIF education and its impact on your career and post-graduate paths. With your valuable feedback, it will help us make informed decision in our efforts to enhance the INCEIF experience for the benefit of our current and future students.

  • All graduands who are attending the Convocation Ceremony are required to be present during the rehearsal session in accordance with schedule given. All the details regarding the conduct of graduands while receiving the degree will be briefed in detail during dress rehearsal.
  • Please complete the Authorisation of Representative form if a representative is collecting the robe on behalf of the graduand. The above-mentioned form must be submitted by the representative together with a copy of his / her identity card/passport and a copy of the graduand’s identity card / passport upon collection.
  • Please ensure that the complete Convocation Regalia (robe, hat and hood) are received from officer at the counter.
  • The rental of Convocation Regalia has already been included in the convocation fees.

  • The Convocation Regalia should be worn in a smart and proper manner, with the hood placed neatly on both shoulders.
  • For the male graduands, wear dark coloured “lounge suit” with matching tie. Pick a light coloured long-sleeved shirt.
  • For the female graduands, wear long-sleeved light coloured attire. When wearing skirts, the hemline should be below the knee level.
  • For footwear, do wear black or dark coloured shoes.

POST-CONVOCATION

Graduands who have settled all outstanding payments to INCEIF, may collect their scrolls and transcripts at One Stop Centre, INCEIF University as per scheduled after returning their convocation regalia.

Graduands are required to present Scroll & Convocation Regalia Collection/Return form for scroll and transcript collection. Graduands who do not return the convocation regalia will not be able to collect their scroll and transcript.

Graduands who wish to send representatives to collect the scroll and transcript on their behalf are required to complete the Authorisation of Representative form and submitted by the representative together with a copy of his/her identity card/passport and a copy of the graduand’s identity card/passport upon collection.

Graduands who are unable to attend the convocation ceremony may request for their scroll and transcript to be sent to them. Please submit the request via e-university portal. The scroll and transcript will be sent to the address specified by the graduand with nominal courier charges.
